OREGON
Multnomah Falls is the most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest with more than 2 million visitors stopping by each year to take in the views. Fed by underground springs from Larch Mountain, the flow over the falls varies, but is usually highest during the winter and spring seasons.
There is a narrow trail that leads up to the top of the falls with stunning views everywhere you looked. The trail with its uneven surface is close to the edge of the cliff making it difficult for people with a fear of heights.
I recommend parking off I-84 as per Alltrails rather than entering through the Historic Columbia River Hwy. That area is very busy and the parking lot at the base of the falls tiny.
