When we hiked Hanes Valley we never stopped to see the falls, so we had to see what the hype was all about. It is a long hike, but with limited elevation gain. We parked in the second last parking lot, went out via the Upper Lynn Loop Trail and back via the Lower Lynn Loop Trail. This gave us a bit more elevation and made it into a slight loop rather than a straight out and back. This is a trail well suited for trail running and less exciting for a hiking adventure.

The falls was beautiful and the trail to get there not at all technical! We went in the winter when it was quote chilly so the rocks and logs were very slippery near the falls with all the mist. Would like to return when it’s a bit warmer and enjoy a picnic lunch at the base of the falls.
