This hike is on Bowen Island so you need to clear your schedule for the day and make your way off the mainland. It’s a quick ferry ride over and a short drive to the trail head. There are limited parking spots, but it isn’t a busy trail so you shouldn’t have any issues leaving your vehicle.

The hike is pleasant with great elevation gain, but not the best marked. Have alltrails open so you stay on track. We missed the turn off to head up towards North Peak and had to back track. The one disappointing factor about this hike is the huge cell tower that sits at the view point. The views of Vancouver, Howe Sound and the Sunshine Coast however are absolutely stunning.

For the apres, head to Snug Cove Cafe for lunch and coffee while waiting for your ferry to return you to reality.
