DEEKS LAKE
12 km | 970 m
Deeks Lake lies along the end of the Howe Sound Crest Trail assuming you are completing it from Cypress to Porteau Cove. The beauty about the HSCT is that you can complete some of its peaks and lakes as smaller day hikes. The lake isn’t supposed to be very exciting “a bog standards lake…no idea why it’s so popular”. Looks like you can also access the HSCT trail via Deeks Bluff Loop.

Should you have the time and energy to make it a longer hike, you can keep going and head up to Windsor Peak which lies above the Lake. As per reviews, this hike is long for the payoff. Most of the hike is in the trees with no views until the summit.
A reviewer did Deeks Lake and Windsor Peak and returned via Deeks Peak and Lost Lake. The trail past Deeks Peak is unmarked and overgrown so not recommended. Return via HSCT is you plan on going up this far.
