BRUNSWICK MOUNTAIN

15 km | 1,550 m | 7 hours

Brunswick Mountain lies just above the Howe Sound Crest Trail with its iconic views that are well worth the gruelling climb and descent. The hike itself isn’t anything special, mostly in the trees until the scramble up to the summit which is exposed and rocky. This part is very technical and challenging. The rocks are loose and sharp so you really have to watch your footing. Gloves are also helpful as your hands are needed.

We had a dog with us so we couldn’t go all the way to the end. It is a very narrow path with a drop off on each side, not meant for those who are afraid of heights

16 km | 1,850 m

The ultimate option is doing a full look and bagging Mount Harvey on the way back. Given the distance and elevation, this will need to be done as a weekend adventure when we’re not pressed for time.
